CROSS-GENERATIONAL STORYTELLING WORKSHOPS TO PRESERVE THE IMPACT OF 9/11 ON LGBTQ+ COMMUNITIES…

The Generations Project is seeking 10-12 LGBTQ+ people of all ages to join our next storytelling workshop to explore the impact September 11th, 2001 had on LGBTQ+ communities.

Whether you were living in NYC or anywhere else at the time of this worldwide historic tragedy, we believe your perspective is important to capturing and sharing an array of stories about how 9/11 impacted your life.

If selected, you will join a wonderful intergenerational group who will meet for four consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6 PM to 8:30 PM starting Wednesday 8/21/2019.  The group will follow our curriculum to help one another develop a 5-7 minute story related to 9/11.  On 9/11/2019 for the final day of the workshop, participants will share their story to a live audience.

The purpose of this workshop is to foster intergenerational community building and ensure that LGBTQ+ perspectives are included in this world-wide historic event.  The stories will be filmed and preserved for current and future generations.

If you would like to learn more, please sign up HERE for more information.

* Registering does not guarantee your spot in this workshop but it does ensure we will follow up with you to share more information.
